This is for a Disney imagineering themed contest.
One of the ideas was to take an unused area and dream about what to do with it. I wanted to use the abandoned skyway station in Fantasyland to make a good sit down restaurant (of which Magic Kingdom does not have enough). Skyway station fyi... [link] Since it's Fantastyland...why not make it a Wonderland tea room based on the White Rabbit's house? The theme would fit well with the area/liven up a dead space/add much needed sit down locations. Plus tea time is the best time of the day  I also wanted to fool around with that 50s kitsch style that Mary Blair used since I looked at some of her Alice in Wonderland concept art for references. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.  reports, 1d 20h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. |
